Barb is a layperson who earned an A.A.S. in forestry in 1982, studied undergrad geology for two years, and then went into medical transcription for twenty-five years because it involved language as well as science.
Now retired from that, she’s enjoying a chance to return to her first love — earth science — thanks to the Internet and (finally) some free time.
Barb has been blogging at Flight To Wonder for years, tweets, is learning how to toot, has some eBooks out on the cat family and Decade Volcanoes (see below), and is currently grappling with the Precambrian in her quest to understand where cats come from.

Decade Volcanoes and the Cat Family Series!
Each link takes you to a page where you can choose your own store — Apple, Kindle (Amazon), Kobo, Google Play, etc. — to check out and buy the eBook. You don’t have to select a preferred site, unless you want to: just leave that box empty and continue.
Thank you, and enjoy!
Be sure to check out my Sunday Morning Volcano blog posts, too!
Of course there are Feline Friday posts, too, as well as a whole series of eBooks:
